About Kids For Christ Ministries

Kids For Christ Ministries was founded in 1997 for the purpose to provide a summer church camp for area students who were unable to attend other camps due to the cost or travel.  We are 100% funded by donations and run solely by volunteer credentialed ministers of different denominations and church leadership.  The leadership of Kids For Christ see that the full gospel message is taught, believing that salvation is the first important step of a life changing experience and we emphasizes the importance of knowing Jesus as your Savior and Lord.  We encourage students to seek a personal relationship with God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and the Holy Sprit.

Currently Kids For Christ holds a one week overnight camp each year the end of June, renting the Hardy County 4H grounds for the week.  We house 105 students and approximately 50 staff for the week, all staff are volunteers.   Our goal is to keep the camp affordable to families who otherwise would not be able to give their children the summer camp experience that draws them into a personal relationship with Christ.  The cost for registration per student is $85.00 for the week.  This includes all expenses for the student for the week.  Anyone may sponsor a scholarship to send a student to camp.  Simply send your donation and mark it as "Camp Scholarship".

KFC also holds Youth Events throughout the year at different area churches who sponsor us as a dedicated mission.   If you would like to sponsor Kids For Christ as mission, please send us any questions you may have, either by email or in writing.
